Senior Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Implement and activate Tenable’s Exposure Management solutions.

• Onboard Tenable technologies adhering to industry standards and best practices.

• Deliver tailored solutions that address vulnerabilities across a client's attack surface.

• Concentrate on client billable work to ensure the effective identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of the client’s business and specific security requirements.

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and partnership.

• Offer clients insights and consultative advice based on experience with Tenable products.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology/Cyber Security field and in professional services.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, plus another language, preferably Italian, Dutch, or French.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.

• Proficiency in assessing and identifying threats and risks associated with Exposure Management.

• Recent experience conducting vulnerability scans, configuration audits, and security monitoring using core Tenable products or other industry solutions.

• Familiarity with Metasploit and related tools commonly used to exploit vulnerabilities.

• Knowledge of application security testing, OWASP, and common exploitable web application threats in Exposure Management.

• Understanding of auditing and configuration frameworks such as ISO 17799, CIS, PCI, GLBA, and HIPAA is preferred.

• Industry-recognized technical certifications are preferred.
