Senior Security Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a robust compliance program to ensure Airbnb adheres to frameworks like PCI.

• Respond to security posture-related questionnaires to support continuous compliance efforts.

• Work alongside both external and internal auditors on Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness procedures.

• Engage with stakeholders to grasp operational requirements and provide practical, risk-based remediation strategies.

• Oversee remediation activities and create metrics and reports on testing and remediation outcomes.

• Establish new processes and enhance existing ones to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Airbnb to enhance security practices and maintain community trust.

• Convert technical solutions into compliance-ready results while working with auditors, regulators, business partners, and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical experience in Information Security Assurance, Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks, including PCI DSS, SOX, DORA, and DFS 500.

• Strong grasp of security fundamentals for addressing partner security posture questionnaires.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing security controls and Information Security policies.

• Proficiency in applying a risk-based approach to assess security vulnerabilities.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate security controls and their business implications to various stakeholders.

• Background in optimizing compliance processes, automating manual workflows, and ensuring audit readiness.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive management, and external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AWS, GitHub, Asana, and Microservices is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
