Senior SAP SD Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP SD solutions that meet business needs and adhere to SAP best practices.

• Organize and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, blueprint sessions, and business process design workshops with essential stakeholders.

• Evaluate client processes and convert business requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.

• Design and set up key SAP SD processes.

• Create functional specifications and work alongside development teams on enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom developments.

• Assist with unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and resolution of defects.

• Offer expertise in SAP Fiori applications for streamlined and user-friendly SD operations.

• Collaborate with business users, key users, architects, developers, project managers, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and prepare comprehensive documentation.

• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance to project team members.

• Provide hypercare and support during go-live phases.

• Some travel may be required, depending on the situation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Strong background in the SAP SD module.

• Experience working within SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Skilled in SAP Fiori applications.

• Proven experience in leading and coordinating design workshops.

• Knowledge of fit-to-standard implementations and standardized SAP S/4HANA solutions.

• Familiarity with SAP integration with other SAP modules.

• Advanced knowledge of Available-to-Promise (ATP) processes.

• Capable of navigating complex system landscapes and making informed decisions regarding standardization versus customization.

• Experience in collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Strong skills in SAP SD customization.

• Understanding of SD/LE processes and SAP Best Practices.

• Experience with large-scale ERP transformation projects.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
