Senior SAP PP Consultant – S/4HANA Rollout

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate current manufacturing processes and collect business requirements in partnership with key users.

• Design and set up SAP PP processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

• Assist with the SAP rollout in Switzerland and the transition from an existing ERP system.

• Perform fit-gap analyses and ensure requirements align with the current SAP template.

• Map and enhance bills of materials, routings, work centers, production orders, and confirmations.

• Facilitate the integration of SAP PP with related modules such as MM, SD, and CO.

• Offer functional support for data migration and coordinate necessary modifications with the development team.

• Assist with testing, user acceptance, go-live procedures, and subsequent stabilization efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of practical experience as an SAP PP Consultant, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP PP Customizing and manufacturing process mapping.

• Familiarity with bills of materials, routings, work centers, production orders, and confirmations.

• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation initiatives.

• Understanding of SAP PP integration with related SAP modules, especially MM and CO.

• Capability to gather and organize business requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions.

• Independent and organized work style, with experience collaborating with business departments and key users.

• Proficient in German and competent in English for project-related communication.

• Desirable: Experience with SAP S/4HANA template rollouts or brownfield conversions.

• Desirable: Knowledge of data migration techniques, such as using the SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Desirable: Familiarity with SAP EWM or comprehensive integration processes between PP, MM, SD, and CO.

• Desirable: Understanding of discrete manufacturing, small-batch production, or make-to-order manufacturing.

• Desirable: Experience in the production of pipes, hoses, or linear products.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Sage or other ERP systems utilized by mid-sized enterprises.

• Status as a freelancer or self-employed individual.
