Senior SAP ECC S4 HANA FICO SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design, detailed configuration, process flows, and execution of intricate SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance projects and programs.

• Direct implementations that include RAR, Intercompany, and Group Reporting modules.

• Convert business strategies, programs, and projects into organized SAP business process flows.

• Act as the functional/technical lead and Finance business process lead for SAP projects.

• Create new business models from a Finance standpoint, considering local regulations, SOX, Compliance, RAR, and Intercompany requirements.

• Manage Finance workstreams for enterprise initiatives, including M&A integrations and transformation efforts.

• Spearhead and execute Q2C processes, tracking, and program management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and prototype integrated solutions spanning FI, CO, MM, SD, and PS.

• Represent Finance stakeholders and ensure Finance and compliance needs are met when coordinating with IT.

• Propel data migration, cutover planning, and system testing for ECC-to-S/4 transitions.

• Address complex system and process design challenges while guaranteeing internal-control and regulatory adherence.

• Guide junior team members and lead project teams throughout delivery and the project lifecycle.

• Engage with senior stakeholders to synchronize priorities and construct SAP solutions that align with business objectives, strategies, and KPIs.

• Formulate transition strategies for moving from Oracle EPM to S/4HANA Group Reporting.

• Oversee Group Reporting integration with the S/4HANA Universal Journal, SAP Fiori apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 12 years of experience in SAP FICO (ECC and S/4HANA).

• Profound techno-functional knowledge in 2–3 Finance sub-functions, such as Intercompany, RAR, and FA.

• Preferred SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting.

• Hands-on, established experience with SAP FICO and S/4HANA.

• Highly preferred experience with SAP Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience upgrading from Oracle EPM Suite to SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAC.

• Deep understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.

• Experience in leading global implementations and managing multi-geo teams from a Finance perspective.

• Extensive functional and technical experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO modules.

• Experience in transitioning Group Reporting and legacy systems, preferably from Oracle EPM to S/4HANA Group Reporting.

• Knowledge of consolidation processes, including legal and management consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation.

• Preferred experience with Data Models, Data Monitor, Consolidation Monitor, and ownership tasks.

• Strong skills in financial-data interpretation and troubleshooting consolidation issues.

• Excellent analytical capabilities for troubleshooting and enhancing complex workflows.

• Proven experience leading S/4HANA implementations and upgrades, particularly in Group Reporting and finance transformations.

• Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

• Preferred experience with third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.
