Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create architectures and integrate them with current system landscapes for SAP Commerce Cloud.

• Provide guidance to B2B clients regarding the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing development of their SAP Commerce Cloud webshops.

• Assess and enhance end-to-end processes, which include catalog management, pricing, ordering, fulfillment, and after-sales support.

• Assist Sales in presales activities, workshops, fit-to-standard evaluations, and effort estimations.

• Review upgrades, release modifications, and new functionalities, producing relevant roadmaps.

• Organize, estimate, and oversee change requests and further developments.

• Contribute to shaping the SAP Commerce Cloud offerings, best practices, and standards.

• Deliver functional leadership for the management of SAP Commerce Cloud (Public Cloud) applications.

• Oversee incident, problem, and change management in second- and third-level support.

• Guarantee service quality through prioritization, escalation procedures, root-cause investigations, and SLA and effort reporting.

• Offer functional leadership to the delivery team across DACH and India.

• Perform code analyses and reviews; manage patches and releases, along with monitoring, build, and deployment pipelines.

• Maintain runbooks and manage the knowledge base.

• Collaborate with delivery teams throughout Europe, the Americas, and India.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) in project delivery and operational roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in a lead or managerial position, such as Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Service Delivery Manager.

• Practical experience with operating SAP Commerce Cloud v2, which includes Cloud Portal, environments and deployments, monitoring and logging, and patch and release cycles.

• Technical knowledge of Java and the Hybris backend (ImpEx, Backoffice, Solr, OCC APIs), as well as Composable Storefront (Spartacus/Angular).

• Familiarity with AMS and ITSM processes, covering incident, problem, and change management, SLAs, escalation management, and ticketing systems.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end processes in B2B e-commerce.

• Experience in facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, and preparing effort estimates.

• A self-directed, organized, and solution-focused working style, accompanied by a high level of initiative.

• Exceptional communication abilities, a passion for new technologies, and a love for collaborative teamwork.

• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the SAP CX portfolio, ERP integration with S/4HANA or ECC, CI/CD and DevOps practices, as well as SAP certifications in the Commerce domain.
