Senior SAP BTP/Cloud Integration Suite Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite to connect S/4HANA with third-party applications and legacy client systems.

• Provide guidance to functional and application development teams regarding integration strategies and best practices.

• Configure and oversee API endpoints utilizing SAP API Management.

• Develop custom applications leveraging SAP BTP, Kyma, and Cloud Foundry runtimes.

• Work in collaboration with security teams to implement and uphold integration security policies.

• Define and communicate integration requirements with functional consultants, application developers, and owners of legacy systems.

• Produce technical documentation that includes mapping logic and error-handling procedures.

• Monitor and address issues with integration flows during testing and after deployment.

• Identify and resolve complex integration challenges to ensure reliability and performance of interfaces.

• Offer technical advice and informal mentorship on SAP integration technologies.

• Engage in quality assurance activities while ensuring the protection of sensitive information as per security policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline with 5-7 years of pertinent experience; or no degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP integration technologies, specifically focusing on SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite (formerly known as Cloud Platform Integration, or CPI).

• Expertise in developing iFlows, and working with OData, SOAP, REST, and JDBC adapters, along with proficiency in Groovy scripting.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, and event-driven architectures.

• Capability to collaborate with functional consultants, application developers, and legacy system owners to define and fulfill integration requirements.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex integration problems.

• SAP certification in Integration Suite or SAP BTP, or equivalent proven expertise.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 investigation) is required.
