This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead initiatives to enhance and solidify the hotel's presence in the leisure market.
• Establish strategic alliances with Wholesale, Consortia, and Cruise Lines accounts.
• Provide support to Hilton Caribe and report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Engage in proactive business development, customer interaction, contract negotiations, and industry networking.
• Drive revenue growth while delivering outstanding service to clients.
• Travel regularly to build relationships, conduct presentations and site visits, host customer events, and showcase the property’s offerings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities from both US and international operators and travel professionals.
• Expand Wholesale, Consortia, and Cruise Lines accounts.
• Oversee the implementation of packages and offers while managing partnerships.
• Cultivate relationships with agencies and individual agents.
• Formulate sales strategies and plans by assessing hotel and market trends.
• Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management leadership on sales and pricing strategies.
• Work together with Hilton Worldwide Sales teams and Discover Puerto Rico's Leisure Team.
• Coordinate with in-market multi-line representatives.
• Support leisure packages, offers, and promotions in partnership with Revenue and Marketing Teams.
• Maintain customer databases and execute e-marketing campaigns.
• Analyze and relay account marketing opportunities.
• Organize and oversee Travel Partner FAM trips, site inspections, and on-property events.
• Manage additional projects and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in hotel sales.
• At least two (2) years of experience in leisure sales or retail travel sales.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time nationally and internationally.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of the local market is essential.
• Experience working with consortia and wholesale partners.
• Proven ability to collaborate with hotel/resort employees, managers, and directors.
• Experience in presenting strategic plans to senior executives and partner groups.
