This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve sales outcomes aligned with growth revenue objectives by leading and managing Solution Sales Executives.
• Spearhead the sales of Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions within the Public Sector Vertical.
• Guide sales personnel in identifying and seizing lucrative opportunities.
• Ensure timely follow-up and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Create tailored coaching strategies and hold regular coaching sessions.
• Mentor the team while fostering a growth-oriented mindset.
• Identify and attract high-performing sales talent.
• Address performance and disciplinary issues as needed.
• Establish priorities for account territories.
• Develop and sustain precise sales forecasts.
• Review and refine sales strategies and forecasts as necessary.
• Utilize data to track performance and pinpoint trends or areas for improvement.
• Formulate sales strategies and tactics that align with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Oversee seller outreach, deal pipelines, and deal quality.
• Cultivate relationships with internal teams, leadership, customers, prospects, and partners.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure support for the sales team.
• Encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of best practices.
• Foster an environment of feedback and open communication.
• 8+ years of experience in a relevant role, with a focus on enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales.
• 3+ years of progressive sales management experience, ideally within software or technology organizations.
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent blend of knowledge and relevant work experience.
• Experience in selling to Public Sector clients: SLED and/or Federal Accounts.
• Proven experience in selling Governance, Risk & Compliance reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Demonstrated sales success with a record of meeting and exceeding sales quota targets in complex technology or software solutions.
• Capability to provide deal support and guidance to sales representatives on large enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Proficiency in managing and coaching a diverse team of sales professionals.
• Outstanding communication abilities and strong business acumen.
• Executive presence with the capacity to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
• Skill in identifying and understanding the distinction between influencers and buyers, navigating the nuances of the sales cycle.
• Ability to lead a team in managing multiple intricate sales processes simultaneously.
• Negotiation skills that maintain value while discussing pricing.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for regular customer meetings and events.
• Reliable internet access is necessary for remote work outside a Workiva office.
