This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and qualify high-value new customer prospects that align with SavvyMoney's strategic priorities and target market segments.
• Create focused prospecting campaigns for designated enterprise financial institutions utilizing market research and competitive insights.
• Conduct proactive outreach to C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
• Utilize industry connections, referrals, and strategic partnerships to discover new business opportunities.
• Oversee extensive, intricate new-business sales cycles that involve numerous stakeholders, prolonged evaluations, and competitive bidding processes.
• Provide consultative, tailored demonstrations and solutions.
• Manage the entire new-logo sales process from initial discovery to contract negotiation and closure.
• Negotiate and finalize new customer agreements with sophisticated financial institutions.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, Executive, Strategic Partnerships, and cross-functional teams to develop solutions and guarantee successful implementation.
• Build and sustain a new-business pipeline representing 4–5 times the quarterly new-logo target coverage.
• Forecast and monitor opportunities through disciplined pipeline reviews and forecasting.
• Analyze sales-cycle dynamics, win/loss trends, market developments, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Achieve aggressive new-business quotas, consistently meeting or surpassing targets each quarter.
• Maintain precise real-time pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Provide weekly updates on the pipeline and conduct monthly business reviews for sales leadership.
• Show continual improvement in sales-cycle duration, win rates, average contract value, and other new-business metrics.
• Contribute to sales strategy, market analysis, and go-to-market planning initiatives.
• Mentor and coach junior sales team members on best practices and the management of complex deals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership regarding account strategy, pricing, and competitive positioning.
• Represent sales in strategic discussions with product, partnerships, and executive leadership.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship, either now or in the future.
• 7+ years of enterprise B2B new business sales experience in fintech, SaaS, banking, or financial services.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business quotas year after year.
• Demonstrated success in closing substantial new customer deals with major financial institutions, including significant new logo acquisitions and multi-year contract values.
• In-depth expertise in selling complex platform solutions, account opening systems, or integrated digital banking products.
• Strong foundational knowledge of core banking platforms, digital banking ecosystems, and financial technology integration requirements.
• Consistent success in closing large new customer contracts ($250K+ ACV preferred) in highly competitive, multi-vendor evaluation contexts.
• Experience in strategic prospecting, market targeting, and identifying high-value enterprise new business opportunities.
• Established market expertise and industry insights regarding fintech trends, competitive landscapes, and financial institution priorities and purchasing patterns.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive negotiation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM systems.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to engage credibly with CFOs, CTOs, and C-suite executives.
• Outstanding ability to research, strategize, and position solutions effectively against competition.
• Consultative selling mindset with the capacity to understand customer business drivers and challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple large accounts while maintaining exceptional quality in relationships.
• Prior experience selling to or prospecting within large financial institutions (preferred).
• Familiarity with account opening, credit decisioning, or personal finance product categories (preferred).
• Understanding of fintech go-to-market models, especially B2B2C and platform partnership models (preferred).
• Experience with solution selling or consultative sales methodologies such as Sandler, SPIN, or Challenger Sale (preferred).
• Proven success in strategic prospecting, market targeting, or new business development roles (preferred).
• History of contributing to go-to-market strategies, competitive analyses, or market planning (preferred).
• Background in mentoring junior sales professionals on new business strategies and complex deal management (preferred).
• Experience managing and expanding a new business territory or pipeline with quota responsibilities (preferred).
