Senior Sage Intacct Consultant, Sage Construction Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a variety of construction-related projects and clients, ensuring successful implementation that is on-scope, on-budget, and timely.

• Carry out implementation tasks including client consultations, defining requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, testing, training, data cleansing, and data migration.

• Set up and implement Sage Intacct in alignment with customer business processes and industry best practices.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of advanced Sage Intacct modules and the functionalities of Sage Construction Management.

• Stay informed on construction industry verticals, encompassing General Contractors, Developers, Specialty Contractors, and Home Services.

• Adhere to prescribed implementation methodologies and utilize templated project plans.

• Mentor and coach less experienced implementation resources, including Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects.

• Train end-users at customer sites to link system functionalities with business operations.

• Document business requirements into configurable software solutions, processes, and visual flowcharts.

• Address technical support inquiries related to implementations.

• Create and build industry-specific KPIs, reports, and dashboards.

• Coordinate project execution with teams from Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success.

• Ensure clear, friendly communication and provide high-quality service aligned with customer objectives.

• Contribute to best-practice repositories for deployment and enhance service delivery tools for improved repeatability.

• Act as a point of escalation for project-related issues.

• Build and nurture relationships with both internal teams and clients.

• Support the growth of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Accounting, Business, or MIS.

• A general understanding of accounting terminology through prior coursework or experience is necessary.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in consulting and implementing Sage Intacct.

• Sage Intacct Certified Implementation Consultant or Sage Intacct Construction Certified Implementation Consultant is highly preferred.

• Understanding of vertical industry gained through operational or accounting roles within the construction sector.

• Experience in consulting throughout the full software delivery lifecycle using a process-based methodology or as an end-user who has undergone a software implementation or upgrade.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros, are preferred.

• Proven abilities in time management, communication, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.

• Strong skills in leadership, project management, organization, and analytical thinking, with a proactive and adaptable approach.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
