This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead and manage the preparation of intricate safety reports.
• Receive, organize, and submit safety reports to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that reports adhere to regulatory deadlines, national legislation, and established procedures.
• Regularly monitor compliance with safety reporting requirements.
• Oversee large-scale projects and guarantee the timely submission of safety reports.
• Contribute insights and feedback for program and departmental procedural documentation.
• Share innovative ideas and engage in the implementation of enhancements.
• Coordinate with pertinent departments and participate in necessary meetings.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members.
• Assist in training new employees and support junior colleagues.
• Generate metrics and take part in financial initiatives.
• Operate in office, laboratory, and/or clinical settings with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious materials.
• Utilize required personal protective equipment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Prior experience equivalent to 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a solid understanding of database functionality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procedural documents and a thorough understanding of global safety reporting standards.
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Capability to influence at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
• Proven initiative along with persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to apply knowledge, skills, and expertise to support junior colleagues in safety reporting tasks.
• Ability to maintain an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours daily.
• Proficient in frequent mobility, occasional crouching and stooping, as well as frequent bending and twisting.
• Capability to lift and carry 15–20 lbs.
• Competence in accessing and utilizing both in-house and off-the-shelf software.
• Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend spoken information and ideas.
• Consistent and regular attendance is essential.
