Senior Rust Developer – Staff Rust Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in a new initiative utilizing Rust for high-performance distributed data processing.

• Develop new functionalities and enhance the robustness, performance, and reliability of the current Rust codebase.

• Address complex business challenges by designing and implementing reliable code and state-of-the-art optimization algorithms.

• Collaborate with internal project stakeholders and clients to design and create services tailored to their requirements.

• Construct and oversee scalable cloud software solutions with complete Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a GCP container environment.

• Utilize machine learning, optimization, and AI technologies in your work.

• Regularly deliver functional Rust software and contribute to the development of AI-focused products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Software Developer.

• Demonstrated commercial experience in Rust development.

• Strong expertise in low-latency data handling and data transformation techniques.

• Thorough understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and resilience.

• Experience in building and managing containerized solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Self-motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Terraform, Kustomize, Argo CD or alternatives, Python, Golang.
