Senior Analyst Programmer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Design, implement, and evolve microservices and REST APIs

• Participate in the integration with financial platforms and corporate systems

• Provide support and resolve incidents in production environments

• Engage in deployments and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes

• Develop solutions based on cloud architectures and distributed environments

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Ensure the quality, performance, stability, and proper functioning of applications

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development with Java

• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

• Experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures

• Experience in designing and integrating REST APIs

• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)

• Experience in CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalents

• Experience working under Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Proven experience in projects within the banking, payment processing, fintech, or insurance sectors (essential requirement)

• Experience in critical business applications and production support

• Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

• Knowledge of Kafka is a plus

• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture is a plus

• Knowledge of AWS, AKS, or OpenShift (OCP) is a plus

• Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger is a plus

• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber is a plus
