Senior Rust Developer, Staff Rust Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Contribute to a new initiative utilizing Rust for high-performance distributed data processing.

• Develop new features while enhancing the robustness, performance, and resilience of the Rust codebase.

• Tackle complex business challenges by crafting and implementing robust code and optimization algorithms.

• Partner with internal project stakeholders and clients to design and build services.

• Construct and oversee scalable cloud software solutions utilizing full Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a GCP container environment.

• Engage with machine learning, optimization, and AI technologies.

• Consistently deliver functional Rust software and contribute to the development of AI-focused products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated commercial expertise in Rust development.

• Strong skills in low-latency data management and data transformation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and resilience.

• Experience in building and managing containerized solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Self-motivated individual with outstanding problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), microservices, distributed systems, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Proficiency in Terraform, Kustomize, Argo CD or similar tools, as well as Python and Golang, are considered advantageous.
