Senior Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reduce the exposure to risk for Amcor Rigids Packaging Solutions North America

• Drive best practices in insurance and claims management

• Ensure compliance with government regulatory standards

• Analyze root causes of previous losses and incidents, collaborating with relevant personnel to lessen exposure

• Create and oversee an RPSNA program aimed at effective risk transfer and claims handling

• Compile claims data for documentation and loss forecasting

• Assess the financial implications of claims

• Supervise strategic partners and conduct audits of partner organizations

• Organize stewardship meetings and guarantee that contractual service level agreements are achieved or surpassed

• Plan, design, pilot, implement, assess, audit, and perpetually enhance insurance and claims best practices

• Lead, mentor, and coach RPSNA staff on insurance procedures

• Influence and inform business partners through effective communication and collaboration

• Perform root cause analysis and manage the resolution of issues identified through audits

• Complete risk management tasks accurately and within deadlines

• Propose enhancements for processes and procedures

• Foster effective relationships within the RPSNA organization


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline is required

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance-related functions (including purchasing, claim reporting, analysis, and vendor management)

• Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification is preferred

• Capability to manage intricate internal and external stakeholder relationships

• High levels of integrity, discretion, reliability, and trustworthiness

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to travel up to 30%
