Senior Imminent Risk – Law Enforcement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and categorize content, as well as identify imminent-risk cases for escalation.

• Act as the primary resource for complex cases and escalations from Junior Specialists during your shift.

• Assist with quality assurance through random checks, calibration sessions, and constructive feedback.

• Mentor and nurture the Junior Specialists on your shift, including those on the weekend teams you overlap with during weekdays.

• Collaborate closely with the Principal to ensure the shift operates efficiently, including smooth handoffs and addressing any issues that arise.

• Serve as a dependable point of contact for your shift, including outside of your scheduled hours when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in law enforcement or a related field.

• Training in at least one relevant discipline: crisis intervention, threat assessment, or violent crime.

• Background in reviewing violent content, credible threats, or extremist material.

• Experience in mentoring, training, or leading teams.

• Ability to regularly review distressing material.

• Strong judgment in navigating ambiguous, high-stakes situations.

• Effective and confident communication skills with the Principal, colleagues, and client stakeholders.

• Willingness to commit to a fixed evening work schedule.

• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or another protected individual) residing in the United States.

• Must pass a background check.

• Reliable internet access and a quiet, private workspace suitable for reviewing sensitive content.
