Senior Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive risk controls for preventing account takeovers and scams.

• Enhance risk processes to ensure coverage as the company diversifies into new products and markets.

• Establish metrics for risk success and develop reporting frameworks.

• Identify and prioritize enhancements to controls for ongoing improvement.

• Utilize data to evaluate risk and influence decisions affecting significant customer segments.

• Measure and analyze tradeoffs through thorough analysis.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams on risk management initiatives.

• Translate data insights into narratives and recommendations for senior risk and product leadership.

• Investigate and address fraudulent and scam-related activities.

• Review alerts regarding unusual customer and transaction activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of direct risk management experience in e-commerce or financial services.

• A minimum of 2 years dedicated to addressing account takeovers and scams within a Fraud, Trust and Safety, or Account Security role.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in data analysis using SQL and Python.

• Experience with large-scale database management.

• Proficient in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Superset.

• Capable of independently scoping and delivering analytics projects while working collaboratively across teams.

• Knowledge of blockchain analytics and fraud trends in the cryptocurrency sector.

• Responsible application of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
