Junior Sport Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee pre-match and live events, adjusting odds, betting lines, and market settings as necessary.

• Handle event and market operations, including configuration, suspension, removal, and settlement.

• Set up templates and bookmaker settings across various sports and leagues.

• Monitor betting activity, manage bet control processes, and conduct initial player risk assessments.

• Evaluate Sportsbook performance across different sports and leagues, identifying trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.

• Collaborate with operators and internal teams in betting, product, and technical areas on operational challenges, competitor analysis, testing, and the development of new Sportsbook features.

• Ensure the quality of betting data by reviewing participant names, translations, and other event details.

• Keep operational documentation and the Sportsbook knowledge base accurate and current.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the betting industry; B2B experience is a plus.

• Practical experience with both pre-match and live betting operations.

• Solid knowledge of sports, particularly a strong understanding of horse racing.

• Comprehensive grasp of probability theory and betting odds.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.

• Proficiency in English at B1+ level or above.

• Proficiency in Russian at C1+ level or above.

• Experience in an IT environment is a bonus.

• Background in project or product development is beneficial.

• Background in risk management, analytics, or operational control is a plus.
