
Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Revenue Cycle knowledge.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead to create and manage onboarding materials and training for new hires.
• Accurately complete or oversee organizational processes in compliance with policies and regulations, ensuring timeliness.
• Monitor processes and generate quality reports for management review.
• Analyze and execute procedural modifications to enhance performance, efficiency, revenue, and margins.
• Address and resolve errors and exceptions.
• Identify opportunities for revenue-cycle improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Act as a primary contact for departments, clients, and audits; investigate and resolve issues and outstanding claims.
• Post payments and adjustment transactions to collection and client systems.
• Reconcile bank transactions, monthly bank statements, deposits, and cash-posting databases.
• Research and allocate payments that lack invoice numbers or service dates.
• Prepare and record financial transactions while maintaining audit documentation.
• Stay informed about compliance and recovery laws related to processing and recoupment.
• Achieve department productivity, quality, and process standards.
• Utilize Cotiviti, client systems, web platforms, filing systems, word-processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint tools.
• Assist with audit activities, resolve problems, and mentor team members.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience and/or an Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or five (5) years of applicable experience is preferred.
• A minimum of two years in financial and/or business-related roles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
• Experience with Access is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle practices.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
