Senior Resident Consultant, CrowdStrike Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, deploy, and offer operational support for the CrowdStrike platform and its associated applications.

• Oversee the deployment process from initial customer engagement to planning, installation, optimization/utilization, and ongoing customer support.

• Deliver technical implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for the CrowdStrike Falcon platform and related applications.

• Aid customers in operationalizing all modules of the Falcon platform.

• Resolve customer issues spanning small to large enterprises.

• Employ and develop both native and third-party software deployment technologies.

• Create scripting and application solutions utilizing Falcon APIs.

• Manage project planning and status for customer initiatives.

• Collaborate with customer IT teams to ensure seamless integration.

• Assist customers in vulnerability and asset management utilizing CrowdStrike applications like Exposure Management.

• Help customers integrate CrowdStrike with their existing tools.

• Provide support for Incident Response and Compromise Assessment teams during Falcon and Falcon Forensics Collector deployments.

• Produce customer-facing materials in collaboration with the Platform Professional Services team.

• Design and conduct skills workshops for the Platform Professional Services team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 8 years of experience in IT deployments or in an end-user/customer environment.

• Strong familiarity with software deployment technologies.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

• Significant experience in computer and network systems security.

• Proven experience in presenting technical content to varied audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying solutions to unique and complex challenges.

• Ability to manage workload and prioritize customer projects effectively.

• Experience in mentoring team members.

• Some experience in leading a team to successfully complete projects.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Potential for travel and assignment-related work.

• May be required to undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests periodically during employment.

• Expertise in Endpoint Security: Falcon platform, AV, and EDR solutions.

• Proficiency in Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Mac.

• Familiarity with Software Deployment: SCCM, Group Policy, McAfee EPO, IBM BigFix, Puppet, Chef, Citrix, PDQ, PsExec.

• Development skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Batch.

• Knowledge of Technologies: Host-based firewall, File Integrity Management, Data Protection, Vulnerability Management, Attack Surface Management, IT Automation.

• Understanding of Compliance: CIS Benchmarks, STIGs, PCI, HIPAA.

• Experience with Databases: SIEM, MSSQL, Splunk, LogScale.

• Knowledge of Identity management: Identity, Active Directory, Azure-AD, SSO.

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
