This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a robust evidence base regarding the factors influencing HOS performance.
• Create and sustain a catalog of potential leading indicators for HOS.
• Keep abreast of behavioral science, survey research, competitive intelligence, and healthcare studies pertinent to HOS enhancement.
• Perform rapid exploratory and ad hoc analyses utilizing both internal and external data sources.
• Convert ambiguous business inquiries into well-structured research plans and actionable insights.
• Guide the strategy, prioritization, and development of HOS interventions.
• Collaborate with HOS Operations to ensure the effective application of predictive models for member targeting and outreach initiatives.
• Clearly communicate findings, limitations, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Actively identify emerging risks, opportunities, and research questions related to HOS.
• Facilitate cross-functional conversations regarding evidence, targeting strategies, and intervention design.
• Take the lead on less complex research and analytical projects from initial problem definition through to recommendations.
• Manage significant components of complex projects in collaboration with the Director and the CAHPS & HOS Analytics team.
• Act as a research and analytical thought partner for HOS Operations, Stars Analytics, and other key stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, behavioral science, social science, or related discipline, accompanied by 5 years of pertinent analytical or applied research experience; OR a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in data manipulation, exploratory analysis, interpretation, and visualization techniques.
• Skilled in at least one analytical or statistical programming language, such as Python, R, SAS, or SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in translating technical findings for non-technical audiences.
• A strong passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to the ongoing enhancement of consumer experiences.
• Experience in behavioral science, survey methodology, psychometrics, or member-reported outcomes.
• Familiarity with healthcare data, including Medicare Advantage, Stars, HOS, CAHPS, patient experience, or quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in conducting literature reviews, evidence syntheses, or competitive intelligence analyses.
• Proven ability to apply research insights to the design of interventions or consumer outreach efforts.
• Competence in interpreting predictive models and translating their outputs into operational strategies.
• Knowledge of large, complex data environments and visualization tools such as Databricks or Power BI.
• Not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
