This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage and supervise daily operational tasks for CLO, CDO, and various structured finance transactions.
• Assist Representative Leads and Senior Leads with cash management, portfolio activities, trade settlements, and transaction lifecycle events.
• Reconcile intricate cash flows, loan positions, principal collections, interest payments, and deal-level accounting records.
• Monitor and address discrepancies across trustee reports, portfolio accounting systems, bank activities, and collateral manager records.
• Calculate and verify waterfall distributions, management fees, incentive fees, and investor allocations.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reporting packages for accuracy and adherence to transaction documents.
• Analyze deal documents, indentures, and governing agreements to facilitate operational execution and exception management.
• Coordinate with collateral managers, trustees, loan administrators, custodians, and other financial counterparties to resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive books and records for structured finance vehicles, ensuring audit readiness and robust data governance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, support automation initiatives, and contribute to operational excellence within the middle office function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Experience in supporting structured finance, securitization, CLO, CDO, leveraged loan, or corporate trust operations.
• Strong understanding of cash reconciliations, transaction processing, portfolio accounting, and financial controls.
• Proven knowledge of CLO/CDO transaction structures, payment priorities, and investor reporting processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including lookup functions, data analysis, reconciliation techniques, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex operational discrepancies across multiple data sources.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage extensive financial datasets and competing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with clients, trustees, loan agents, and internal teams.
• Preferred: Experience in performing CLO/CDO waterfall calculations and reviewing trustee or investor reporting.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with CDO Suite, Solvas, Geneva, Intex, Wall Street Office, or similar structured finance platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge of syndicated loans, leveraged loans, fixed-income securities, and securitized products.
• Preferred: Understanding of collateral quality tests, coverage tests, concentration limitations, and compliance monitoring within CLO structures.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting new issue CLO transactions, refinancings, resets, restructurings, or other structured credit events.
• Preferred: Professional certification or advanced coursework in finance, accounting, investments, or structured products.
