Senior Reporting Analyst, ROPS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Analyze and manage projects to swiftly address revenue challenges, enhance yield, and support both insurance and internal stakeholders.

• Formulate strategic suggestions related to revenue strategies, process enhancements, and operational innovations.

• Collaborate directly with internal partners to resolve and oversee significant revenue-related issues.

• Identify the root causes and scale of reimbursement opportunities, partnering with both internal and external parties to implement solutions.

• Conduct data analyses to uncover trends.

• Develop and convey key insights from the analyses and propose initiatives to drive efficiencies.

• Lead projects from inception to completion.

• Demonstrate expertise in report creation, including gathering requirements, data identification and aggregation, report building and automation, and distribution to end users.

• Act as a subject matter expert on data sources, extraction, integration, and aggregation across various databases.

• Draft requirements and design, build, and automate intricate reports utilizing Excel, SQL, and Tableau.

• Assist colleagues in report development and troubleshoot as well as ensure quality control against errors.

• Automate processes including email distribution, payment requests, quality control protocols, and temporary data capture.

• Convert data into actionable insights and advise business leaders on recommended actions.

• Collaborate with business partners to define report requirements and lead stakeholder working sessions.

• Oversee and implement project next steps, prioritize tasks, influence change, and achieve results.

• Communicate technical issues to diverse audiences and align stakeholders on recommendations and subsequent actions.

• Mentor and guide team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 6-8+ years of experience in data analysis, including proficiency in Excel pivot tables and query building.

• Capability to analyze intricate data to proactively inform business decisions.

• Advanced proficiency in one or more analytical or report-building tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, VBA, and/or Power BI.

• Expert-level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.

• Strong analytical skills and report creation capabilities.

• Proficiency in conveying complex concepts in a straightforward and easily understandable manner to varied audiences.

• Ability to work autonomously, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.

• Fluency in written and verbal communication necessary to effectively perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the role.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree.

• Preferred: Experience in the healthcare sector or revenue cycle management.

• Preferred: Familiarity with SQL and/or Python, VBA, Power BI, Microsoft Access, Excel Macros, Tableau, Netezza, and Google Cloud.

• Preferred: Relevant coding and Excel certifications.

• Experience with data analytics tools and processes, including SQL, database development and management, Tableau, Google Cloud, and data visualization.

• Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time (1-2 onsite meetings per year).
