This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create and execute strategies to enhance the utilization of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products in designated accounts while adhering to budget constraints.
• Align with corporate goals and convey essential sales messages effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
• Tackle clinical and political issues relevant to the territory.
• Supply vital sales insights and direct feedback to national, regional, and area teams.
• Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement teams, patients, support groups, advocacy organizations, and providers to guarantee product accessibility.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through field-based interactions and meetings with healthcare providers and staff.
• Promote company products and services, nurture new accounts, and grow existing ones.
• Oversee, strategize, and execute territory-specific activities.
• Propel growth by leveraging knowledge of disease states, competitive dynamics, and external business factors.
• Complete training programs and engage with genomic testing and Precision Oncology products.
• Maintain technical expertise to persuade physicians and other stakeholders regarding patient access and product use.
• Establish connections with national oncology and pathology thought leaders.
• Keep open lines of communication with internal personnel, managers, and clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Over 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in selling/promoting complex products in medical oncology, diagnostics, or other intricate healthcare offerings.
• At least 3 years of medical sales experience in specialized fields, including Buy & Bill, Medical Devices, or clinical specialties like urology, cardiology, or GI.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly competitive sales environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related incidents while driving a vehicle in the last 36 months.
• No other unacceptable results from the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in oncology sales, particularly in chemo/immunotherapy or oncology diagnostics, is preferred.
• Strong connections within oncology accounts in the territory are preferred.
• Experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers is preferred.
• Familiarity with NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, and/or hereditary cancer is preferred.
• Travel: 75% of the time.
