Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager / Commercial Manager – Energy & Natural Resource

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for performance and quality, utilizing analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strategically plan and implement work, recognizing opportunities to enhance value and seeking assistance when necessary.

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor groups.

• Oversee and manage contracts effectively.

• Track expenses, forecast, report, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow.

• Achieve KPIs, oversee programme performance, manage costs, and implement value engineering.

• Offer commercial leadership and guidance.

• Enhance forecast accuracy and ensure prompt agreement on final accounts.

• Document lessons learned and aid in knowledge management efforts.

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a degree or HNC level qualification.

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts.

• Background in cost/commercial management for Energy projects (nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, low carbon) or Infrastructure projects (water/utilities/rail/roads/aviation).

• Proven experience working on significant programmes or project portfolios.

• Professional Chartership is desirable.
