Senior Quantity Surveyor, Cost Manager, Commercial Manager – Energy & Natural Resource

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for performance and quality by utilizing analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strategically plan and implement tasks efficiently, recognizing opportunities for value addition and escalating issues when necessary.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractor teams.

• Oversee and manage contracts.

• Track expenses, forecast budgets, report findings, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow.

• Achieve KPIs, enhance program performance, maintain cost control, and implement value engineering initiatives.

• Offer commercial leadership and strategic advice.

• Enhance forecast accuracy and ensure prompt agreement on final accounts.

• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.

• Suggest improvements to internal systems and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or HNC level qualification.

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts.

• Background in cost/commercial management for Energy projects (including nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, low carbon) or Infrastructure projects (such as water/utilities, rail, roads, aviation).

• Proven experience in managing major programs or project portfolios.

• Professional Chartership is preferred.
