Senior Quantity Surveyor – Cost Manager – Commercial Manager, Energy & Natural Resource

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the growth of the New Energy & Natural Resources division

• Contribute to notable projects for important clients

• Take responsibility for performance and quality while providing dependable, client-oriented results

• Strategically plan and implement work efficiently, pinpointing opportunities for added value and escalating issues as necessary

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor teams

• Oversee and manage contracts

• Track costs, forecast, report, manage changes, and regulate variances and cash flow

• Achieve KPIs, program performance, cost management, and value engineering

• Provide commercial guidance and enhance forecast precision

• Deliver clear commercial advice and ensure the prompt resolution of final accounts

• Document lessons learned and aid in knowledge management

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HNC level qualification

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts

• Background in cost/commercial management within Energy or Infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with energy sectors such as nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, or low carbon

• Knowledge of infrastructure sectors including water, utilities, rail, roads, or aviation

• Experience managing major programs or project portfolios

• Professional Chartership is preferable

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proven experience in contract administration and management

• Capability to perform cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variance control, and cash flow management

• Ability to deliver KPI, program performance, cost control, and value engineering results

• Competence in providing commercial advice and final account agreement
