Senior Quantity Surveyor – Cost Manager – Commercial Manager, Energy & Natural Resource

📋 Description

• Assist in the growth of the New Energy & Natural Resources sector

• Engage in prestigious projects for major clients

• Take charge of performance and quality, ensuring reliable, client-centric results

• Effectively plan and execute tasks, identify opportunities for added value, and escalate issues as necessary

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractor groups

• Oversee and manage contracts

• Track costs, forecast, report, manage changes, and control variances and cash flow

• Achieve KPIs, program performance, cost oversight, and value engineering goals

• Provide commercial guidance and insights

• Enhance forecast accuracy and promptly finalize accounts

• Document lessons learned and aid in knowledge management

• Suggest enhancements to internal systems and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or HNC level qualification

• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC

• Background in cost/commercial management for Energy or Infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with energy sectors such as nuclear, renewables, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, or low carbon

• Knowledge of infrastructure sectors including water/utilities, rail, roads, or aviation

• Experience managing major programs or project portfolios

• Professional Chartership is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Capability in contract administration and management

• Proficiency in cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, variance, and cash flow control

• Ability to achieve KPI, program performance, cost control, and value engineering results
