Senior Quality Editor – English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Edit and ensure the quality of English content, exemplifying the design and quality standards of EP.

• Take ownership of English quality assurance guides, templates, and training materials.

• Apply Lessons and Assessment Quality Metrics consistently across English projects.

• Create quality metrics for new initiatives and develop production quality reporting.

• Work in collaboration with the Learning Strategy team to implement quality strategies for new products.

• Provide leadership and support within the Continuous Improvement team.

• Evaluate quality and performance data to discover trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.

• Review handover documents, Model Lessons, and Assessment Scripts prior to the launch of new projects.

• Deliver or coordinate English-specific training while supporting the onboarding and induction of contract editors.

• Advise and mentor English editors across various projects.

• Manage graphic design briefs and their integration into lessons.

• Identify workflow efficiencies and implement improvements within the Content team.

• Oversee English content package management, including cross-departmental projects and inquiries.

• Assist in the recruitment of contract reviewers and editors.

• Address English content inquiries from teachers and EP staff.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of English learning pathways.

• Achieve productivity and quality targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design for English content for years 7–13.

• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail to consistently adhere to instructional design standards.

• Confidence in delivering training and providing constructive feedback to content team members.

• Proven track record of evaluating quality processes, identifying enhancements, and implementing them across the broader team.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed quality decisions and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster professional relationships with project teams, peers, and management.

• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across various teams and disciplines.

• Collaborative mindset in a cross-functional environment.

• Flexible and open to adapting to evolving work methodologies, including AI-enabled processes and tools.
