Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Examine specifications to ensure a complete understanding of deliverables.

• Determine testing requirements based on specifications or verbal discussions.

• Create, document, and uphold functional test plans and test cases.

• Implement and assess test cases while reporting the outcomes.

• Confirm that deliverables align with specifications and requirements.

• Identify, replicate, and report defects, as well as verify fixes.

• Collaborate with development teams, project management, and clients regarding quality, project scope, and deliverables.

• Detect potential quality concerns through established processes and communicate them via appropriate channels.

• Engage in essential ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work in an Agile setting with software developers, architects, and project managers.

• Take ownership of quality assurance at every phase of the delivery process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree or an equivalent foreign degree in one of these fields combined with three (3) years of relevant work experience.

• Three (3) years of experience leading a team of quality assurance specialists in quality assurance processes.

• Three (3) years of experience with Life Insurance and Annuity Business processes.

• Three (3) years of experience with relational databases and SQL.

• Three (3) years of experience participating in the complete lifecycle of a project.

• Three (3) years of experience in an Agile environment.

• Acceptable combination of education, training, or experience is considered.

• Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
