Senior QA Engineer – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality throughout the Salesforce development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios for Salesforce applications and solutions.

• Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce environments.

• Create, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Salesforce-based applications.

• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, and business processes against functional and technical specifications.

• Review business and technical requirements for consistency, completeness, and testability.

• Identify, document, track, and verify Salesforce-related defects until resolution.

• Test integrations between Salesforce and external systems, ensuring data flow and system behavior are correct.

• Perform regression testing following Salesforce releases, configuration updates, and new feature implementations.

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to confirm product stability and quality.

• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, product owners, and business stakeholders to address quality issues.

• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, test strategies, and automation coverage.

• Recommend product and functionality improvements based on usability, quality, and customer experience standards.

• Assist with UAT activities to ensure business requirements are validated prior to release.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance/Quality Control, including a minimum of 2 years in a Senior or Lead QA position.

• Strong hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications and solutions is essential.

• Demonstrated Salesforce testing experience encompassing functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

• Deep understanding of Salesforce functionality, configurations, customizations, and integrations from a QA/testing viewpoint.

• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, with practical experience using automation frameworks.

• Experience in designing and executing test plans, cases, scenarios, and regression suites for complex software systems.

• Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and external applications or systems.

• Proven track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases.

• Experience leading and mentoring QA teams while managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate technical findings into business impact.

• Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools.

• Experience with CI/CD environments and a solid understanding of software release processes is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
