Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Validate communication based on RF technology, encompassing long-range low-power alarm signaling as well as high-throughput image and audio transmission.

• Conduct RF performance and robustness testing.

• Test both addressable and hybrid installations, which include device addressing, enrollment, and topology management.

• Assess protocol behaviors, focusing on protocol coexistence and prioritization.

• Assist in developing automation-based testing solutions and validation setups.

• Aid in compliance readiness for EN 50131 by providing structured test evidence.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Engineering specializing in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.

• Significant experience in the Quality Assurance sector.

• Background in validating wireless systems, bus-based systems, or testing hardware-related products with a focus on communication.

• Experience with performance-driven testing, including assessments of latency, range, and throughput.

• Practical understanding of Sub-GHz radio systems, RF protocols, or IoT communication technologies.

• Familiarity with QA processes, methodologies, and tools and the capability to apply them effectively.

• An analytical, data-driven mindset towards testing and reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the use of debugging logs, traces, and serial output.

• Proficient command of the English language in both writing and speaking.

• Skills in test automation utilizing Python.

• ISTQB certification.

• Experience using the Atlassian toolchain.

• Knowledge of EN 50131 or similar standards.

• Experience in the intrusion, detection, or access domain.

• Willingness to relocate to Gdańsk, Poland.
