Senior QA Automation Engineer – AWS, Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create and execute an automated testing framework for an AWS-hosted web application and associated Salesforce native workflows.

• Automate comprehensive user journeys across different platforms, including cloud web UI interactions that initiate deployments or metadata backups in Salesforce.

• Develop robust Salesforce Lightning UI tests that can withstand dynamic ID alterations and manage Shadow DOM components.

• Construct API automation suites to validate real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues between AWS and Salesforce.

• Incorporate automated testing suites into contemporary Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering, particularly with complex enterprise integrations.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows.

• Skilled in code-first automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR possess extensive experience with Salesforce-specific automated testing systems (Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM framework).

• Proficient in REST API testing.

• Strong expertise in SOQL queries for direct verification of the Salesforce database.

• Significant experience in establishing automated test procedures within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud developer tools).
