Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and implement automation scripts for web applications and APIs utilizing Postman or Pactum.

• Establish the test strategy and create scenarios using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) with Gherkin syntax.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee quality with each deployment.

• Detect, document, and monitor the resolution of defects using tools like Jira or Kanbanize.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and refinement sessions.

• Collaborate closely with developers and Product Owners to establish acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript.

• Familiarity with popular test automation tools.

• Strong understanding of Postman, Pactum, or Swagger for backend service validation.

• Experience with SQL querying for data validation and ensuring information integrity.

• Proficient use of Git (GitFlow).

• Knowledge of Appium and mobile test automation within a Device Farm environment is advantageous.

• Prior experience with banking systems or payment solutions is a plus.

• Awareness of Security by Design practices and vulnerability analysis tools is an added benefit.
