Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead the automated testing initiatives across the platform, achieving 80–90% automation alongside 10–20% manual testing.

• Participate in social media reporting efforts.

• Perform comprehensive automation code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.

• Work collaboratively with a distributed engineering team dedicated to product quality through effective test automation and QA practices.

• Provide support for innovative U.S.-based teams through nearshore software development services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience with Playwright utilizing TypeScript.

• Expertise in Playwright Trace Debugging.

• Familiarity with BrowserStack Test Management.

• Experience with BrowserStack Automate.

• Demonstrated ability to define and implement automation requirements for new features.

• Solid foundation in Computer Science principles.

• Capability to design and develop engineering solutions in lower development environments that circumvent in-place security measures.

• Experience in setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration systems.

• Proficient in reporting, tracking, and triaging bugs while resolving complex technical issues.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Practical experience with native mobile and web QA automation (Appium, WDIO) is a plus.

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD is a plus.
