Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with QA Leads to deliver testing assistance for Wellpartner's digital offerings, which include Web, Windows, and Database applications.

• Grasp QA frontend and database testing objectives and contribute to the expected deliverables.

• Create effective automated and manual test cases along with test scenarios.

• Ensure that the implemented solutions align with business requirements.

• Build and sustain cooperative relationships across various functional teams.

• Oversee and maintain QA testing and automation environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software test engineering and automation.

• Expert-level proficiency in various testing methodologies.

• More than 5 years of experience collaborating with highly technical architecture, engineering, and operations teams to drive outcomes through QA automation.

• At least 5 years of experience executing all phases of the SDLC, including QA processes and metrics.

• More than 5 years of experience in implementing and maintaining automation frameworks and solutions using industry-standard automation and test management tools.

• Over 5 years of experience with Web and Client/Server applications.

• More than 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server or similar relational database management systems (RDBMS).

• Experience in ground-up implementation of automation framework architectures.

• Knowledge of tools and CI/CD implementation.

• Experience in software application development using programming and scripting languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.

• Practical expertise with tools like qTest, ReadyAPI or QTP/UFT, Selenium, and JMeter.

• Proficient in API automation development using JavaScript or similar technologies.

• Advanced skills in SQL querying and optimization.

• Hands-on experience utilizing Git and CI/CD pipelines with Azure or similar platforms.

• Experience in maintaining QA test and automation environments.

• Expertise in performance testing solutions and script development with JMeter or similar tools.

• ISTQB, Scrum, or SQL certification is a plus.

• A Bachelor's degree or a high school GED along with relevant experience for the role.
