Senior QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and acceptance tests.

• Generate test scenarios and cases derived from both business and technical specifications.

• Create and uphold test automation scripts utilizing Selenium.

• Assess integrations among systems, APIs, and web applications.

• Detect, document, monitor, and verify defect resolutions.

• Engage in Agile practices including Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review, and Retrospective meetings.

• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee delivery quality.

• Assist in defining and refining the testing strategy along with QA best practices.

• Execute regression tests prior to production releases.

• Generate technical testing documentation and retain records of completed validations.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and automated test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA professional within software development projects.

• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in Selenium for test automation purposes.

• Competence in creating and sustaining test frameworks.

• Experience with test and bug management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar applications.

• Understanding of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

• Proficiency in SQL databases for data validation tasks.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and reproducing issues.

• Excellent communication abilities and capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Desirable: Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).

• Background in performance testing tools (JMeter or k6).

• Knowledge of Docker technology.

• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
