Senior QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct QA testing activities for the SLAMNET-Parcel implementation in Mexico in accordance with established test plans, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop, execute, and document test cases, test scenarios, test results, and supporting evidence for SLAMNET-Parcel functionalities.

• Assess system functionality to meet Mexico Brokerage operational needs, encompassing parcel processing, exception handling, data flows, and business rules.

• Identify, document, and report defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected results vs. actual results, screenshots, logs, and business impact.

• Collaborate with the QA Lead, vendor, technical teams, and business users during defect triage.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Provide second-level support for SLAMNET-Parcel by analyzing reported issues to determine if they pertain to functionality, user actions, data, or configuration.

• Assist business users during testing and stabilization by reproducing issues, documenting findings, and coordinating follow-up actions.

• Maintain testing documentation, defect logs, issue status, and validation evidence efficiently.

• Participate in implementation status meetings to report on testing activities, open issues, risks, and blockers.

• Assist with go-live and post-go-live stabilization, including validating production issues and coordinating with vendor support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, Tester, Business QA Analyst, or Application Support Analyst in system implementation or production support settings.

• Required knowledge of Mexico Brokerage processes, customs clearance, parcel operations, logistics, or transportation workflows.

• Capability to comprehend functional requirements and translate them into test cases, validation steps, and expected outcomes.

• Experience in executing functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, defect validation, and UAT support.

• Proficient in clearly documenting defects and collaborating with technical teams or vendors for issue resolution.

• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot application issues and ascertain whether they are linked to functionality, configuration, data, processes, or user execution.

• Familiarity with QA/test management or issue tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, HP ALM, or similar systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining issues to both business and technical audiences.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple assigned test cases or support tickets simultaneously.

• Experience with SLAMNET Application/Tool.

• Advanced conversational proficiency in English and Spanish is essential; this will be assessed.

• Foreigners residing in Mexico must possess a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC.

• Must be located in Mexico.

• Must hold a visa to work in Mexico.
