This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate and document property claims that involve liability exposures and litigation processes.
• Perform thorough policy and coverage assessments, take recorded statements, assign inspections, actively manage reserves, prepare or review estimates, and negotiate settlements for high severity or complex losses.
• Provide verbal and written communication regarding claim updates and decisions.
• Manage claims in accordance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
• Offer technical expertise and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Claims-related initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced team members.
• Assist with catastrophe response when necessary, which may include potential overtime and deployment.
• Execute any other responsibilities required to advance the company’s mission and uphold its values.
• Over 7 years of experience in property claims.
• More than 3 years of experience in handling property liability and litigation claims.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Empathetic interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in estimating.
• Adjuster licensed in the home state or holds a non-resident license if not required; meets licensing requirements for additional states as necessary.
