This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee and organize Jira and Azure DevOps boards, backlogs, workflows, and project timelines.
• Ensure that work items contain clear acceptance criteria, precise status updates, appropriate tags, and story-point estimates.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, release readiness reviews, and additional project meetings.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource limitations.
• Maintain RAID logs and provide early warnings of potential schedule delays or project obstacles.
• Document meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up with team members to ensure timely execution.
• Generate weekly and biweekly status reports, project dashboards, burndown charts, velocity metrics, and summaries for executives.
• Convert technical progress, challenges, and achievements into clear updates for program leadership and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts among software engineering, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, infrastructure, and other support teams.
• Monitor code reviews, pull requests, testing, deployment, and release blockers impacting project outcomes.
• Maintain project documentation and repositories in Confluence, SharePoint, GitHub Wiki, or similar tools.
• Ensure architecture diagrams, user manuals, release documentation, and compliance approvals are properly maintained and archived.
• Assist with application release schedules, testing and feedback cycles, production maintenance periods, and incident tracking.
• Oversee software licensing needs, vendor updates, cloud resource requirements, and associated project allocations.
• Track contract deliverables and required approvals in relation to statements of work, project schedules, and program baselines.
• Provide administrative and operational support that enables technical leaders to concentrate on engineering execution, team mentorship, and strategic priorities.
• Proficient understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience managing project boards, backlogs, workflows, and reporting in Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
• Proven experience in coordinating sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, release activities, and other project meetings.
• Capability to develop and sustain project schedules, milestone trackers, action-item logs, and RAID registers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convert technical information into clear, executive-level summaries.
• Experience in preparing project status reports, dashboards, metrics, and leadership briefings.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated skill in recognizing potential risks, schedule delays, resource constraints, and cross-team dependencies.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with software engineers, technical leads, QA teams, UI/UX designers, DevOps staff, infrastructure teams, vendors, and program leadership.
• Experience in maintaining project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, GitHub Wiki, or similar repositories.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, follow through on assigned tasks, and support teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, information technology, computer science, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of experience supporting software development, information technology, or technical project teams.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any security clearance or access requirements related to the position.
• Capability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to engage in and follow audible communications during emergency situations.
