Senior Project Manager, Public Opportunities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Supervise various heavy civil construction projects, encompassing roadway, utilities, stormwater, grading, and site development.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget while adhering to contract specifications and quality standards.

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources for projects.

• Monitor the performance of projects and proactively address risks and challenges.

• Develop and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.

• Guarantee accurate billing processes.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing project profitability.

• Interpret and manage contracts, plans, specifications, and public agency requirements.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Act as the primary liaison for owners, municipalities, and public agencies.

• Cultivate and maintain client relationships.

• Engage in progress meetings, presentations, and communications.

• Utilize InEight project management software to oversee project production and budgets.

• In-depth knowledge of heavy civil construction techniques, sequencing, and logistics.

• Proficiency in cost control systems and construction management software.

• Comprehensive understanding of public contracts, specifications, and compliance standards.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with public contracts.

• At least 3 years of experience in creating and managing schedules.

• Ability to lead multiple teams and handle complex projects concurrently.

• Demonstrated experience with scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
