
Senior Project Manager – Client Pilots, Strategic Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Implement disciplined delivery across client pilot programs and strategic partner initiatives.
• Transform commercial intentions and technical aspirations into actionable plans.
• Coordinate resources from multiple organizations.
• Maintain a comprehensive collection of project artifacts.
• Ensure visibility of progress, decisions, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Take ownership of project governance and delivery from handover and initiation through testing, acceptance, closure, and lessons learned.
• Convert signed proposals or approved project concepts into project charters, plans, and governance frameworks with clear objectives, deliverables, resources, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Develop and sustain integrated project plans, along with decision, risk, and issue logs.
• Set up reporting schedules and manage changes to scope, timelines, and resources.
• Proactively escalate issues with clear options and recommendations.
• Coordinate contributions from clients, partners, and internal teams across Product, Engineering, Machine Learning, DevOps, Customer Success, and Sales.
• Facilitate communication between business, agronomic, and technical stakeholders.
• Actively manage external dependencies.
• Launch client pilot programs using repeatable templates to test specific customer-value hypotheses.
• Formally close pilot programs with acceptance, lessons learned, and transition to Customer Success or Product.
• Develop a reusable project framework.
• Maintain a portfolio perspective on active projects, capacity, and delivery confidence for management.
• Several years of hands-on project management experience in delivering complex technology, software, data, AI, IoT, or systems integration projects involving external clients, partners, and multiple companies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributors without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, risks and issues, change control, test planning, acceptance, and closure processes.
• Ability to translate ambiguous objectives into structured, testable plans and constructively challenge unrealistic commitments.
• Experience in creating concise, decision-oriented project reports and maintaining disciplined project documentation.
• Adequate technical literacy to confidently engage with software engineers, product managers, ML or data specialists, and infrastructure teams; coding expertise is not necessary.
• Fluent in Russian for daily interactions with the internal team.
• Proficient in professional English for meetings, documentation, and negotiations with international clients and partners.
• Willingness and capability to travel internationally.
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.
• Confidence to escalate issues and secure decisions.
• Nice to have: knowledge or experience in agriculture, commercial horticulture, greenhouse technology, or agtech, along with relevant education in agronomy, horticulture, or a related field.
• Nice to have: working knowledge of crop protection or greenhouse operations.
• Nice to have: experience with computer vision, machine learning, robotics, camera systems, IoT, data integrations, or combined hardware and software delivery.
• Nice to have: experience designing and conducting pilots, proofs of concept, or field trials with measurable acceptance criteria.
• Nice to have: understanding of Agile product development and milestone-based or hybrid delivery for cross-company projects.
• Nice to have: formal project management training or certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent, or experience in establishing a project management function or PMO-lite framework.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
