This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of project delivery, ensuring that objectives related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality are met.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from site preparation and coordination to final system acceptance.
• Align timelines with leaders in engineering, supply chain, quality, installation, and commissioning.
• Identify and address project risks and opportunities proactively.
• Enhance processes, standards, and communication to boost efficiency and collaboration.
• Organize cross-functional meetings and provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote transparency, prompt decision-making, and robust partnerships among project participants.
• Collaborate directly with customers and Symbotic executive leadership.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to other project managers as necessary.
• This is a remote position that requires travel for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• At least 7 years of experience in managing large-scale automation, material handling, or construction projects is necessary.
• Proficiency in scheduling, scope, cost, and risk management for intricate technical projects is essential.
• A background in robotic automation, ASRS, or material handling is strongly preferred.
• Experience in managing design/build, installation, and construction projects is required.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management across executives, clients, contractors, and engineering teams.
• A successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure, with a knack for implementing innovative solutions.
• Effective negotiation skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Competency in scheduling software, earned value management, and data-driven performance tracking, including Smartsheet/Jira.
• Capability to provide technical insights and facilitate design/process discussions.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Capacity to drive and/or fly to client and customer locations.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 45 feet and in confined spaces of 24 inches.
• Physical capability to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Adherence to safety regulations and protocols, including lockout/tagout and fall protection.
• Ability to work on construction sites while wearing necessary personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety vest, steel-toed boots, eyeglasses, ear protection, and safety harness.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
