Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the component scope, identify risks or opportunities, and manage the strategy for transitioning functionally rich components.

• Develop software products for banking and financing institutions in collaboration with R&D teams.

• Collaborate with leadership across various regions to initiate and implement strategies.

• Support the future direction of components, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maximizing ROI.

• Enable, empower, and motivate teams towards continuous process enhancement.

• Challenge individuals and engineering practices to elevate product quality.

• Provide governance to product teams to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions.

• Mentor teams and reinforce the organization's values and culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering end-to-end solutions based on Java and Cloud Technologies, following a Microservices-based architecture.

• 14–18 years of industry experience in design, development, deployments, operations, and managing non-functional aspects of technical solutions.

• Strong experience in leading large enterprise-grade components and overseeing end-to-end delivery.

• Proven track record in program management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of Microservices-based Cloud Native architecture with a Java background.

• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and digital technologies.

• Extensive experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.

• Comprehensive experience in standard Project Management responsibilities, including project planning, monitoring and reporting, risk and issue management, budget tracking, and change management.

• Experience in the fintech or lending domain is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

• Self-motivated individual capable of taking initiative and executing tasks effectively.
