Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate within a strategic role, assisting leadership in prioritizing the IT project portfolio.

• Ensure effective governance, predictability, and transparent communication between business and technology teams.

• Organize and maintain the IT project portfolio, which includes the roadmap, status updates, and risk assessments.

• Define, implement, and continually enhance project management methodologies, templates, and standards.

• Assist squads and managers with project execution, covering aspects such as planning, scheduling, scope, and budget.

• Lead governance initiatives including steering committees, executive reports, and performance metrics tracking.

• Monitor significant risks, dependencies, and action plans.

• Ensure alignment across business areas, IT, and vendors.

• Act as a resource for project and portfolio management best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a PMO or Project Manager on medium to high-complexity IT projects.

• Familiarity with portfolio management, governance, and performance metrics (KPIs/OKRs).

• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional).

• Capability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executives.

• Experience in creating executive reports and presentations for senior leadership.

• Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PSM, SAFe, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications are advantageous.

• Previous experience in digital transformation settings or large-scale corporate programs is a plus.

• Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Clarity is beneficial.

• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for interaction with global stakeholders is a plus.
