Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate SUE projects from the development of scope to final delivery.

• Handle project scope, budget, schedule, staffing, risk management, and client communications.

• Supervise field execution, crew assignments, survey/mapping assistance, test-hole coordination, and engineering assessments.

• Collaborate with Colorado 811, utility owners, CDOT, municipalities, and other relevant jurisdictions.

• Examine field data, mapping/CAD, test-hole details, and deliverables for quality assurance and quality control.

• Detect scope deficiencies, scheduling risks, and requirements for change orders.

• Guide project managers, junior project managers, field leads, and technicians.

• Assist in proposals, estimating, kickoff planning, and enhancing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SUE field methodologies and underground utility systems.

• Proven capability to manage multiple teams and intricate projects.

• Exceptional skills in client communication, leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil, transportation, utility, and construction plans.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Colorado.

• Over 10 years of experience in SUE and utility locating/designating.

• Background in CDOT, municipal, utility, railroad, transportation, or design-build projects.

• Strong understanding of ASCE 38-22 and Colorado 811.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/mapping, PointMan, Fulcrum, or similar software.
