Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage one or more medium-sized project management teams by overseeing specific components of a larger technological initiative.

• Directly contribute to projects and assist in staffing and supervising assigned personnel.

• Provide guidance and set deadlines to guarantee the quality and timely completion of tasks.

• Collaborate with clients, company executives, and project team leaders.

• Evaluate and communicate project metrics while recommending program adjustments.

• Ensure the quality of project deliverables throughout all phases of the program.

• Develop objectives, timelines, program definitions, and budgets.

• Identify and manage risks through status reports and project updates.

• Draft detailed statements of work for clients.

• Secure stakeholder agreement and approval regarding the work scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the full project management life cycle.

• At least 3 years of experience in Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as being a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Current understanding of budget development, control, and assurance methods, along with project management software.

• Ability to convert broader program goals into clear and attainable project milestones.

• Leadership skills to train, mentor, and guide junior colleagues.

• Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
