This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a variety of intricate, high-priority projects within the project portfolio, ensuring alignment of project delivery with the organization’s objectives and priorities.
• Manage project budgets, which include vendor contracts, guaranteeing that projects provide value while adhering to budgetary limits.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that define clear ownership and deadlines.
• Ensure accountability among vendors, clients, and internal team members for timely task completion.
• Oversee and communicate modifications to project scope and facilitate formal change requests.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify and document project risks, and take ownership of risk mitigation strategies.
• Enhance enterprise-level tracking of products, projects, KPIs, and resources through the use of reports and dashboards.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and communicate updates regarding project progress, risks, and delays.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives for the PMO by utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies.
• Lead comprehensive vendor relationships across various projects.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while encouraging their professional growth.
• Assist in formulating the PMO's strategic mission and objectives in collaboration with Product Management, Software Engineering, and Operations.
• Plan and facilitate refresher activities and ongoing learning forums.
• Provide backup support for the Director of Project Management.
• Attend conferences and training as necessary.
• Perform additional related tasks as required and adapt to changes in the work environment, procedures, priorities, and responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma coupled with 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, demonstrating a proven ability to drive measurable business improvements.
• Project Management certifications (PMP preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience overseeing complex change initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven capability to implement continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exhibits executive presence and assertiveness, comfortable presenting to Executive and Senior leadership teams.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential, with a strong emphasis on documenting processes and projects.
• Solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in vendor management.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, etc.).
• Familiarity with financial tracking and portfolio-level reporting activities.
