This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Plan, budget, supervise, and document projects associated with the implementation of new businesses and ongoing initiatives within Contract Logistics.
• Concentrate projects on warehousing and distribution centers.
• Collaborate closely with clients and DSV leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop project implementation phases, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and critical path tasks.
• Execute projects following the DSV CL Project Approach methodology and Group PMO governance.
• Facilitate DSV Quality Planning sessions in partnership with clients.
• Communicate project scope and timelines to resources and stakeholders.
• Ensure accountability for deliverables among team members, contractors, clients, and functional owners.
• Oversee project budget, scope, timeline, and change control processes.
• Lead status meetings, project team updates, risk mitigation efforts, and Project Board updates.
• Escalate issues and risks to management and/or the Project Board as necessary.
• Manage the transition from project execution to stable operations.
• Assist in drafting MS Project files for RFP responses.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving internal department processes and tools.
• Provide planning, risk mitigation, team leadership, project ownership, oversight, follow-up, prioritization, and executive-level communication.
• A four-year degree is a fundamental requirement (Management, Engineering, Operations preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Logistics/Warehousing Industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• E-commerce experience, including the launch of small to large volume solutions.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during both warmer and colder months.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by the business.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• PMP or other formal project management training is preferred.
• Experience in a 3PL environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse automation applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
